Born out of frustration
At Handled we know how painful a bad onboarding can be. Handled was born out of the personal frustration of Bob Dijs, our founder.
Years ago, he worked in a field sales role for a company. On his very first working day, he didn’t get his laptop until the afternoon. He then had to ask several busy colleagues to create accounts for him. Instead of feeling welcome, he mostly felt like a nuisance. It took four hours before he could finally get to work. And the car he badly needed for his sales role? He only got that after 3 weeks.
It turned out not to be the last time onboarding went that badly. Later, at other companies, he saw that the offboarding process was often set up even more clumsily. He sometimes saw former employees who could still access important systems months after they had left.
And so the seed was planted… and eventually Handled came to be.
We decided: we are going to fix this
We specialised entirely in building automated workflows that make employee on- and offboarding run flawlessly. No more loose tasks and manual data entry. From now on, every step of the on- and offboarding happens automatically, on time and error-free.

Why us?
1 100% focus on on- & offboarding
These processes are complex. They cut straight across HR, finance, operations and IT. That’s why we choose 100% focus. We know the most common systems, scenarios and pitfalls inside out.
2 Radical transparency
The IT world runs on vague quotes and after-the-fact invoicing. We don’t do that. We are open about what we do and what it costs. Before we start, you know exactly where you stand.
3 Proactive management
Changes in your systems can disrupt your workflows. We don’t wait until you call with an error message. We monitor your workflows continuously and fix problems proactively, often before you even notice something was wrong.
